Songwriter, MC and visual artist Nelson Mondlane is the dynamic frontman for Perth based hip hop collective Superego. He also performs in Myriad Sun and appeared recently as guest MC in Adrian Dvzuke’s track ‘Bad Like Riri.’ Nelson spoke to Em in the studio about how he prepares for his intense high-energy performances, why he believes vulnerability is so important, and what it’s like being a cross-disciplinary creative.
