West Australian producer/singer/songwriter Kučka (Laura Jane Lowther) makes captivating and ethereal electronic pop music. She has worked with a host of internationally renowned artists such as A$AP Rocky, Vince Staples, Vegyn, and Flume. She joined Em via Zoom to chat about life in LA, collaborations, her latest track ‘Contemplation’, and the creative process.
“Contemplation is about the importance of giving yourself time away from the chaos. Sometimes we need a reminder that stillness is necessary in order to maintain balance both physically and mentally. It’s important to set aside time to practise this, in order to give space for self-reflection and intuitive thoughts to arise.”
